Jason King is a veteran educator entering his 17th year of service as an English/Language Arts teacher. While he currently serves as English Department Chair at Heritage High School in Wake County, he spent the first decade of his teaching career in Franklin County, 3 years of which were at his alma mater, Franklinton High School, where he graduated in 1998.
Jason received dual Bachelors of Arts Degrees from UNC Chapel Hill in English and Philosophy. He also holds a Masters in Executive School Leadership from Gardner Webb University.
Jason’s interests include biking, photography, writing, video games, and enjoying outdoor adventures with his family.
Jason hopes through the Gift, he will be able to give back to his home community, and help promising young people realize their aptitude and achieve their potential.
